After 3 years at Scot Scoop, I have grown significantly as a photographer. I started off as a staff writer, specializing in sports. I wrote timely articles about games, but also explored with writing coach profiles and writing about bigger problems in sports. As sophomore year progressed, I began to focus more on the quality of the photos because I felt that they brought life to the articles. At the beginning of junior year, I started as a photojournalist, a new position within the program. I was able to develop my sports photography skills, and explored different types of photos. Senior year I oversaw several other staff photographers, growing the photography portion of our program.
